The hotel is well located, and both the room and bathroom were spacious. However, the cleanliness was disappointing; I found a clump of hair on the carpet, which gave the impression that the room hadn't been properly sanitized and the mug on the table had signs of use. The room was a bit dark as there were very few lighting fixtures.

Room was clean and in good condition. Staff at reception lovely and helpful. Wish I’d realised there is no breakfast available and we had to go to the weatherspoons across the road - usually this would be ok but it coincided with the Santa Dash so it was mobbed with weary runners. Also in a noisy area of the city with banging music till 1am and sirens. However, very handy for the station, shopping and entertainment.
