「Goof」

「This hotel is in a great location if you have family or friends who live nearby. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are clean, with new fresh sheets, and new fluffy towels. The building and facilities are long past their prime and need to be renovated and have some serious attention. The bathtubs and shower surrounds are moldy and dirty. The rooms need new drapery and freshening up. The floors are very creaky, and the walls are merely suggestions in terms of keeping out the sounds that...

「Please note, I did not stay at the Montrose Inn as booked. Loss of power at the inn required that they rebooked me into the Montrose Hotel. 」

「They canceled my booking in the morning. The hotel is used for regular travellers and other type of purpose. I do not recommend 」

「The staff is super nice, always. Stayed here many times with my wife, two teenage boys and our dog. Everyone is so nice to our dog. The lady that serves breakfast is so helpful and friendly. Lol ... Love the story how they got her a Snuggy because she used to always wrap up in a blanket. 」

「My room was cancelled. I was late getting to my e-mail on Friday, learning they tried to contact me because my card was outdated. Although I had sent a reply, my room was cancelled. I accept blame for not verifying the card on file.」

「I chose this hotel based on its positive reviews, so I was quite shocked by my experience. The only positive part of my stay was the staff. Unfortunately, everything else was disappointing. The shower had hair in it, the sheets were extremely thin and poor quality, and the room overall felt very unclean. It also led to one of the worst nights of sleep I’ve ever had.」

「Refinishing paint job sloppy; broken window in bedroom; air conditioner barely keep room tolerable, even on 50 to 70 outside; scary outside stairs to navigate (thank goodness it didn't rain while using); if there was suppose to be any kind of breakfast or similar eat-on-the-go items, there wasn't. The new toilet was nice.」

「The room was very nice. The owner really went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. We loved the nice breakfasts that were provided including the homemade quiche. The house was very charming.」
