Loved our stay! A 20 mins or so walk to the main Praça da Comercio area but that was fine with us. We stayed in the Studio Loft and it was so cute and comfortable.

Everything was excellent! Contrary to some previous reviews, the place is very well located, peaceful, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The service provided by Iris and Nívea was outstanding — kind, attentive, and always willing to help, they truly elevated the experience. I’ve read some comments suggesting the area isn’t safe, and honestly, that says more about the lack of perspective of those who wrote them than about the place itself. As someone who travels frequently across many countries and cities, I can say that safety and hospitality often depend on how open-minded and respectful we are toward others. Sadly, there are still people who mistake diversity for danger — a mindset rooted in prejudice and, at times, subtle xenophobia. That’s precisely why stays like this one deserve recognition: they remind us that kindness and humanity still make all the difference.

Everything about this property was perfect. The communication was excellent, the area was perfect for walking, shopping, exploring, etc. The property itself exceeded my expectations. It was clean, roomy, well equiped and modern. I highly recommend this location.

Clean, spacious, and equipped with all amenities you’ll need including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion. Not a lot of places had conditioner and the ones they provide were very luxurious. They also had cooking oil and salt pepper, pods for laundry, pods for dish washing. It was a wonderful stay. It is however tucked behind a few streets from restaurants and also a pretty steep hill climb but we didn’t mind, once we got back to the hotel each day, it was like a resort stay. Highly recommend.

Vila Rodrigues was spotless and had everything that we needed . It was very nicely designed and stylishly decorated . The only thing it needed was a rail on the outer side of the stairs. Easy walking distance to Alfama and some restaurants .

Excellent property

Well located, short walk to shops, restaurants and transport. Access to the apartment was easy as directions, key codes etc were very well communicated. The apartment itself had everything you could possibly need. Including complementary wine, water and fresh ground coffee. All in all a clean, comfortable hugely convenient property.

The staff were great but the property had very high humidity, there was a dehumidifer but wasn’t big enough for the unit. There were alot of pests as a result of the humidity levels. Location is close to the metro and quick food options otherwise.

Lovely calm stay in the middle of Lisbon

Villa Rodrigues is in a great location with some lovely streets of cafes and shops just 10mins walk away. There is also a super market on the same roads making it easy to buy food. The flat was lovely, really well fitted out with super comfortable beds. The area was pretty quiet so good for restful sleep and also work working in the day. Our only note for improvement is that the flat could do with a few more cooking utensils such as wooden spoons and spatulas, other than that the kitchen was well equipped with lovely locally made table wear.

Stunning, spacious, safe 2 bed/2 bath apartment

Beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment (Lar Laurinda) in a gated area on top floor with all the amenities you would think of. Fully stocked with welcome coffee, wine, water and full bottles of toiletries shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion. Great shower, natural light, very safe and secure. Towel warmer, washer dryer combo unit, coffee Nespresso maker combo, all dishes and cutlery, very well thought out lighting and storage. I wish I could live there full time! The only thing that travelers should know is that the building is in a dominantly east Indian area, so if you are not into that style of food, you will need to walk or metro a bit further.

The property was clean and for the most part as shown in pictures. It was somewhat inconvenient to climb the stairs and they have no porters to help with bags. My villa I couldn’t find any flatware in the kitchen and the office closes at 4pm so if you check in late and say you want some water after a long flight you’re on your own.

The property was set up like individual villas, beautifully decorated, and very clean. We felt safe and secure in the property. We arrived on a weekend prior to check-in time but the sweetest housekeeper Nivea helped us with our luggage and let us store our luggage in our room while they got it ready for us. Nivea showed us around our room and was super kind. The property had great added amenities that are harder to come by in Portugal such as a dishwasher, washer AND dryer, steamer for clothes, and towel warmer. There was also a bottle of wine, sparkling water, and still water available for us. The office manager also was so kind when we couldn’t figure out how to use the dryer function since the QR code with instructions was not loading. She also helped us figure out how to take a train to Cascais. Just a FYI, Google maps tells you it is 2.5 hrs by train when in reality it’s only 40 min. I searched numerous properties since I am super picky and this was by far the best in the price range. The property was easy to find and very quiet. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family that are staying in Lisbon. Thank you for a lovely stay!
