「A really good back street pub, with a choice of local ales (Bateman's among others) decent music, nice beer garden/courtyard for Spring and Summer months and a generally, good vibe. The landlady was extremely friendly and accommodating - no problems checking in a little earlier. Parking permit provided too. Think it was ensuite - large bathroom adjacent to our room. 「I love this little gem of a pub and have been staying here for at least the past 15 years whenever I am in the area for regular work. Andy and Adele make a great team with delicious food, a good variety of beers, wines, cocktails etc and a lovely fire to keep us all cosy and warm, oh and the fish pie was really delicious! 😋」
