"Our trip to Yunnan wouldn‘t have been made pefect without the stay in Banyan Tree Lijiang. The credit must go to the staff, Elin. Elin is always courteous and responsive. She has been very helpful all the time. She is also very caring and always checks with us to see if we have any need. We stayed there for a couple of nights and then went to other places of Yunnan. On the very last day of our trip, we went back to stay there. Elin went out her way to prepare a better villa for us. Even though she wasn’t on roster on the day we were there, she made sure that other staff were aware of what to do. When compared to other 5 star hotels (including other countries), this is the best customer service we have ever come across. Elin‘s service has made Banjan Tree Lijang stand out."

"Lize Graceland Artistic Suite Inn is located in the midst of the many crisscrossing streets of Lijiang’s Ancient City. Eateries and shops abound around the inn. It may be a little hard to find for first time visitors but the staff does a great job directing you to a nearby location and then meeting and accompanying you to the inn. Speaking of the staff, starting with the manager Julia, they are very helpful and personal with their service. We came up from Dali and Julia made all the arrangements for our trip back. They answered all our questions and provided information about what to do and where to visit. Our room was spacious and clean and we were met with a tray of coffee, tea and snacks. Julia obviously understands that happy and satisfied customers make for a successful business. My wife and I highly recommend this place."

"It has been relaxed and cozy for my 4 nights stay with localized culture style. The bedding is comfy and cleanly fresh. I added one more night by paying in local currency. Staff are very helpful and nicely willing to support at all the time. Overall I have been very happy and impressed for my vacation in Lijiang. "

"We loved this hotel. My mum, sister and I, we all loved this hotel. On the day of the arrival, we took a taxi to the closest ancient town entrance point which was around 5 mins walk away from the hotel. We went through a clean and well-built stone pavement, passed some nice shops, stepped down a stone stair, then found this hotel which was next to a clear water path, so we were pleased even when we were approaching the hotel. As soon as we arrived, the hotel owner and her staff gave us a warm welcome by offering us a nice and hot Chinese tea, some flower cakes and some cozy chats. We had a home feeling. The hotel room facilities and communal amenities are first class with a professional taste! The owner and her team offered high standard services to us throughout our entire stay and always willing to help, to provide the useful local information and to book taxi and local show tickets for us etc. All of these made our travelling experience in Lijiang super easy and enjoyable. We highly recommend the hotel and you wouldn't be disappointed... "
