"All of the great reviews are real. The staff is very helpful and Amy’s help with our planning was amazing. We even had to leave our power banks at the airport (non CCC) and she got us one delivered to the hotel in a few hours. The hotel’s location is very quiet, but also only a few steps away from the busy old town. It was a perfect combination for us."

"place looks beautiful! we booked a suite with one bed room! it is a one bedroom house with yard! the place looks very nice! however, the back yard door is open from outside, people can come to house inside yard from outside this back door!"

"Friendly and helpful staff. Met us at the entrance to old town and moved our luggage in (even though late arrival and pouring rain). Lovely quaint courtyard and simple quaint room with good king bed and warm shower. Staff helped us arrange transport for Tiger Leaping Gorge day hike and tickets to a live performance. Like other places it is best to have WeChat set up in advance for communication and if you want, for payment too. Special commendations to staff Bob and Roxana for their warm welcome, copious amounts of tea, and assistance. We would come here again."

"We booked this stay for the last night of our anniversary trip! The accommodation is located within the old town, thus no cars are allowed to enter. However the hotel staff had already contacted me far in advance to arrange luggage pick up so arriving to the hotel was very easy! They also arranged a quieter room for us and surprised us with a cake too! We loved the stay, very different to your usual city hotels but regardless it had all the amenities we needed. Rooms were clean, staff were friendly and location is quiet yet a stones throw away from tourist spots. "
