"Lovely clean hotel, rooms were pleasant and clean, bed comfy. We didn’t enjoy breakfast struggled to get a table, coffee machine broken, didn’t think the quality of the food was up to much but I’m not a huge breakfast fan anyway so wasn’t really bothered. However, we had an evening meal one night during our stay and it was dreadful - my carbonara was hard, cold and bland the quality of my husbands burger was awful it was like mush had better from a burger van. I also ordered a cafe latte but just hot milk arrived no coffee in it whatsoever. Saving grace was that the tiramisu was delicious. All in all I would recommend this hotel but I’d just avoid the food."

"The whole place had a charm about it. It was lovely and relaxing. Breakfast was good. A lot of variety. Most staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. We made good use of the map we were given. The bar was not good but that could be because the season was just finishing. We had one cocktail out in the gardens and that was it. Only one person knew how to make them and she was only there for one night out of our five. We had to settle for hot chocolate the rest of the time but that was lovely. My only real criticism is the mattress and the pillow’s especially need changing. Pillows are flat,lumpy and hard as rocks. Please spend a little bit on that area and would be a five star review. Thank you for your hospitality."

"The staff were very friendly and helpful upon arrival, offering information about the area and advice for getting around. The cleaning/service staff were also very friendly and cheerful. The room was nice and large, nice big bed and all the useful amenities such as a mini fridge, hairdryer, soaps and shower gels etc. It also had extra pillows and a thick blanket in case the nights got chilly. The aircon was perfect and not too loud and night. We were on the top floor and there's no lift so bit of a hike after a long day of exploring but I appreciate it's not always possible to fit a lift into a smaller building so can't fault that. The only negative I can think of is the water pressure for the shower was quite low, you couldn't use it while the toilet cistern was refilling as it would only dispense very hot water during that time. Everything else was great. It's in a quiet and peaceful area but it's very easy to catch a bus to the town centre and from there the rest of Venice is just a vaporetto away. Ideal for travellers who want to explore all over but get good value for money and a nice relaxed place to stay. Finally, the breakfast was really nice. Varied each day with different nibbles and flavours of pastry, fritatta etc. Definitely advise going for that if you stay here as you're not going to get good food like this anywhere near that cheap on the island."
