「There’s a slightly old-fashioned feeling to this hotel, though this is mainly a good thing. It’s reasonably priced and the staff are wonderful; the food is excellent and the swimming pool superb. A decent tennis court too. Rooms are clean and pleasant, but could do with a little updating: air- conditioning was a bit of a mystery and there was no Wi-Fi in the rooms. New bed covers would easily improve the look of the rooms, though the beds themselves were good.

Breakfast is plentiful with fresh ricotta made in house figs from the trees on the property and freshly made preserves and juices. The olive oil is sublime. A bottle is left on every table at dinner and is drizzled onto a plate for guests to dip the freshly baked assorted breads that show up every evening...

「The hotel is new, modern, elegant, very clean and in a great location, just off the crowded main square. My room was spacious and very comfortable and clean - just not a single drawer to store underwear, shirts etc. Since the check-in happens with the punching of a code and there is no reception, I had to carry my large suitcase up some very steep and narrow stairs to the second floor. The manager was very kind to carry it downstairs for me the morning of my departure.
