Charming gîte with swimming pool in park approved as a remarkable garden

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful estate. The swimming pool, tennis courts and grounds are fabulous. Make sure to explore the woodlands which includes a war bunker. Plenty of superb wildlife and great walks for your dog. We loved seeing the swallows dipping into the pool and coypu's feeding on the pears. We also saw a heron and other wonderful birds. The gite is basic but clean with everything you need including wifi. This is a very remote place and the nearby villages are limited. Especially if you have an EV car as there is no immediate charging point. Bar Le Duc is nearest 30 mins away. There is a small Lidl and InterMarche ten minutes away but you will need to drive. Think the best time to visit would be in June when sunflower fields are in bloom. The chateau is full of history and host was kind. Great value for money but be prepared that you will need to travel if you want restaurants etc."

Acceuil très chaleureux , merci Annie , ce fut vraiment un grand plaisir de faire votre connaissance, vos attentions sont adorables , je n'ai pas eu le temps de vous dire au-revoir, je le regrette. Voyage ressourçant, c'était le but . Je recommande très fortement cet endroit ."

"Très jolie maison dans un environnement calme. Les espaces sont grands et bien aménagés. Bel extérieur entouré de nature... les chevreuils se sont invités à l'apéro... Claude et Danielle sont très accueillants et très sympathiques. Si nous devions retourner dans la région, ce serait à cette adresse !"

"Our family of five (2 adults, 3 younger kids) had a two night stay here in Aug 2026 while travelling back from a longer trip to Switzerland. The B&B is comfortable and clean, the service is friendly and the continental breakfast on the terrace in the morning sunshine was a highlight. We spent a day taking the kids to the high ropes course (Arbre et Aventure) at the nearby Lac de Madine, which I'd recommend as an outdoor family day out. Would happily stay again."

"My family of 5 had a great stay with a large 3 double bedroom appartment which was very clean and had everything we needed. Herve was an excellent host and really looked after us and the super breakfast kept us going for hours. Highly recommend. Thank you"

"Séjour très agréable. La maison est immense et permet à chacun de préserver son intimité, avec ses 5 salles de bain et ses 6 WC ! Le gardien nous a très bien accueillis. Nous avons eu un problème avec la plaque à induction, et il a fait le nécessaire pour nous dépanner avec une plaque de secours ! Un petit bémol, le supermarché le plus proche est à une dizaine de km, mais il suffit de s'organiser. J'aurais aimé pouvoir faire quelques commentaires supplémentaires en-dehors de cet avis qui paraîtra dans l'offre de location. Merci."

"Accueil très agréable. Mado nous a présenté le gîte dans les moindres détails.La maison est super et vraiment adaptée pour une réunion de famille. Il ne manque rien.Nous avons profité du parc où les enfants ont pu jouer tous ensemble.L'espace du braséro est super pour regarder les étoiles.Merci pour ce bon moment passé dans votre maison"
