"Very nice quirky hotel, reminded me of a small version of The Grand Budapest hotel from the Wes Anderson movie including bell boy dressing the part. The Coco Cocktail bar was very Moulin Rouge too, and the cocktails were really good, only criticism was the music was played really loud of an evening, and the room seemed set more relaxed than pumping dance tracks, but hey I’m 50 and they are playing to a younger audience I think lol. The spa was a little disappointing, our gold status gave us access, and we went in first night to be told it was closing in 30 minutes, we tried again the next day and it was closed fully for maintenance all the way till the end of our 4 night stay. Our first room was really nice, but the air conditioning didn’t work correctly outside it was 35c and the room wouldn’t go below 24c, we complained 4 times in total over first 2 days , they tried sending a guy and adjusting at front desk, but in the end had to move us, the second room had same size bed but square footage was much smaller and bathroom smaller, but it was a trade off we took as this room although still wouldn’t drop to the 19c we set , would go to 22c…on the very last morning when the outside temp was mid 20’s we did notice it as last drop to 19.2c, but we were about to checkout then. All in all though a very nice and perfectly located hotel with very polite staff, would stay again, just maybe not in the height of summer."
