This hotel is definitely not a 4-star property—more like 2.5 stars. The staff were great and the rooms were clean, but it’s definitely better advertised than it actually is. Also, one floor seemed to be used for long-term housing to immigrants, which made it unclear what type of place it really is.

Nice with parking garage, a bit tricky to park. Nice staff. Good location close to the old town and also Autobahn. Good breakfast.

Unfortunately, I made a mistake when booking and selected the wrong week for my stay. This has happened to me before at other hotels, and in every previous case I was able either to change the reservation to the correct dates or to cancel it without any penalty, especially when the reservation was still several days away. In this case, despite contacting the hotel and making several attempts to resolve the issue, I was informed that the reservation could neither be changed nor cancelled. What I find particularly frustrating is that there were available rooms for the dates I actually needed. I was able to book a new room for those dates, yet I was not allowed to transfer my existing reservation to the correct week. Moreover, there was still approximately one week remaining before the original reservation date, which made the refusal to cancel or modify the booking even more difficult to understand.
