Not one to usually write a negative or even a positive review of places but prime doorstep who manage this property just took the p*ss. I would strongly advise against booking this apartment. I booked on September 1st for arrival on the 22nd and noted my check-in time as 4pm. The listing stated I would receive “special check-in instructions” by email. I also followed their directions and emailed my car registration on September 3rd to secure parking, but received no reply. I tried calling multiple times on the 21st and sent further emails, again with no response. On the 22nd, I finally managed to reach someone — but only 30 minutes after my scheduled arrival time — and only then did they send the check-in instructions and parking confirmation. Completely unacceptable communication. On arrival, the condition of the apartment was appalling: • A crack in the bedroom window. • Kitchen sink leaking underneath. • Bathroom door handle literally fell off in my hand. • Kitchen light not working. • Worst of all, there was visible mold growing on the floor in the airing cupboard. This place is not properly maintained and feels unsafe and unhygienic. The lack of communication from management, combined with the shocking state of the apartment, made my stay extremely stressful and disappointing.
