The hotel and staff were top-notch.
The area around is typical “rural” Vietnamese.
If you are a Westerner- looking for a pristine beach experience- you won’t like this area (but you WILL like the hotel).
If you are used to Southeast Asia travel- you will really enjoy it.
Note: we were the only Westerners we saw- and we felt like rock stars. Everyone said “hello.” All the kids ran up to us giggling.

Pools and beach access was great. Breakfast buffet was very good and the resort restaurant food was good as well. There's a convenient store across the street that is super useful and stocked with plenty of drinks, water, snacks, and alcohol. There's nothing else to do or go to within walking distance of the resort though.
