"Our stay at the AND Hotel was excellent. The facility was very clean, well maintained, and well furnished. All of the staff were exceptionally nice, friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The hotel's location is perfect for visiting a wide variety of interesting sites and restaurants, all within relatively short walking distances. "The room was nicely appointed, clean and quiet. The walls may be thin, but it was quiet all 3 nights when I went to bed. The breakfast buffet was very good. The location was ideal for most sites. The lobby looks tired but clean and there is a bar and restaurant, though there are other restaurants nearby that have a wider range of dishes. I didn't try the spa-not sure where it is in the building."

"Overall the experience was 3 stars. The staff was very helpful and friendly, but unfortunately the bathroom smelled of sewage and the bed had an old spring mattress that was extremely uncomfortable. I also believe the hotel should warn guests that prayer is broadcasted at 3:40am. And when we asked for ear plugs, they only offered cotton balls. The staff did help me recover a lost item, and provided coffee in the morning, which we really appreciated. The location is excellent, as it is central to the major attractions in the faith area."

"We had a very nice stay in GLK Sea Mansion. The hotel itself is not modern and trendy in its decor, but it was very pleasant and comfortable, and had everything we needed for a good trip. The location is great - very close to all the top tourist locations, but away from the noise and crowds and tourist tat. It's a quiet and charming little area of alleyways of small hotels and restaurants. It's also close to a bus stop from the airport. Salih and Yusef on the front desk were really friendly and helpful. The view from our balcony was lovely, and the view from breakfast was even better!"

"You cannot beat the location location location! For a small three and a half four star hotel.They had a good breakfast.The staff was amazing! We didn't check out the spa, but the front desk people were always helpful. Luda and the ladies in the dining area were awesome. There is an outside area you could sit at tables and relax and people watch. I would stay at this hotel again."

"Fantastic staff who were helpful, friendly and efficient. The rooftop terrace has amazing 360 degree views of Istanbul. We had some delicious meals in the restaurant, and breakfast was very good. "Was going to give one star but gave 3 star in the end. We had a terrible experience coming to the hotel with uber dropping us off 10 mins away from the hotel due to impossible traffic. We had 4 large luggage’s with us and called the hotel. Hotel told us that someone is using the cart hence it would take 15 min for someone to come get us. My boyfriend and I didn’t eat anything whole morning and were about to faint from low sugar hence we tried to go up the hill ourselves a little and updated the hotel our location. 30 mins later we still didn’t see anyone and had to sit down at a local restaurant to get some food before we pass out. The hotel staff finally came 30 mins later. However, when we got to the hotel, after a brief apology after we complained about situation, the manager asked us “we never asked you to walk - we told you to wait”. We were furious and asked if this was our fault then? We had previously stayed at other four seasons and 3 keys and had never had this experience. They always sort out traffic or warn customers beforehand. In the end they did pay for our terrace 2 glasses of drinks + rope hence I am giving 3 stars. Hagia Sophia is under construction so view was underwhelming at trrrace. Dont recommend here"

"I can only say two good things . There is no better location and the staff are helpful if “asked” The hotel is not maintained and the rooms are only surface cleaned. We were in their most expensive room 1.the safe didn’t work even after asking them to fix it, 2.The containers body wash was empty when we arrived and remained so. 3.The dust under the bed was thick. 4.The quilt was too small for the bed and was a metre too short. 5. The shower was full of mould and the greasy run marks at the side of the basin was disgusting. 6. The restaurant had chairs and boxes piled other corners 7. Reception windows had not been cleaned for months and the dead dried flowers were full of dust. These are all first world problems but when you play a very expensive price to stay on holidays we expect the basics to be met This is my tenth trip to Istanbul and the hotel standard here has really dropped dramatically. Don’t take their transfers/ we were dropped in the arrivals car park and not departures / and had to pay cash in Euros - the drivers didn’t care. I will use Uber if their is another time."
