"Loved the beach front room! It was quite a nice clean room with a comfortable bed. Fully stocked in room continental breakfast. We loved watching the sunrise over the bay from our bed. Delicious little pizza shop just around the corner."

"Our fist visit to Montrose. Lovely hotel which met all our needs in terms of friendliness, cleanliness, amenities and location.
We had a very plentiful, tasty breakfast.
Great atmosphere in the evening when there was a live band and a busy function suite.
Have already recommended this hotel and this town to friends."

"The hotel hotel was nice, the room was more than adequate and the staff were great, my only complaint was it was close to a bar/club and you could hear people shouting and laughing on the street and the faint thump of music."

"The staff were exceptional!! The food was exceptionally good, with a mix including Indian as well as UK, but all - dinner and breakfast was excellent. The room was comfortable and clean.
The hotel is in the centre of the city of Brechin, quite close to the cathedral - well worth visit! Th oldest part dates from around 1000AD"

"Lovely, spacious and clean room. Good breakfast but as typical with buffet breakfasts, food was warm at best. Was a treat dining with some Gladiators though! Lovely pool although do find it strange that any under 18s are restricted to being out by 11am, perhaps the age on this needs reviewed as a teenager is not splashing around the same way an under 10 might be. Parking pricey at £15 for the night."
"On arrival the reception staff were not engaging or helpful. On departure the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The staff at the bar were lovely. There were some dusty areas in the bedroom especially the television. The bed was comfortable and the area was very quiet. One of the lifts was out of order so the wait to leave was always 5 minutes or more. Breakfast was lovely, with lots of choice and everything was fresh and plentiful. The staff at breakfast were friendly and attentive.
Overall it was a positive experience and I would not hesitate to stay again in the future."
"The room was huge twice the size of where I stayed last week the bed was very comfortable I slept well every night the shower was very easy to work first time and the men and ladies on the front counter were wonderful and once I knew the way from the railway station or bus it didn ’t take long to walk .I only needed the room clean once and that was excellent ."
"The Hotel was conviently placed for both the bus station and the railway station. Step out of the front door, turn right and walk about 7 minutes and you come to Union Street with many shops bars and restraunts. The staff are very helpful. We would certainly stay here again, the prices are very good for an hotel in such a good location.👍👍👍"
