Our room was beautiful and themed so a nice touch but we felt there wasn’t a relaxing seating area apart from outside but cold and windy and the bar so no cosy seats a quieter area to chill

We had a great time at Banchory Lodge. Staff were lovely and so friendly and our little dog was spoiled. He had sausage at breakfast just especially for him. The toom was beautiful a d overlooked the river. The grounds were great too and even saw a heron on the opposite side of river. Folk were seen daily fishing. Banchory is very nice to wander about and we were very lucky with sunny days. Highly recommend staying for a fee days.

Such a treat to stay at this location! The staff and food were amazing and the lodge was like a step back in time, but with all the modern amenities. I stayed in the sweetest room that was just perfect for my needs. The sound of the rushing water from the river was constant and soothing and could be heard from all corners and areas of the facility. Very well worth every effort made to be there.
