Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The Villa is located in a peaceful guarded residence surrounded by a tropical terrarium of plants and palm trees. A natural privacy fence made of bamboo which adds to the beauty, creating a vibrant and engaging environment. This oasis has a private salt water pool. Just 7 min walk to 'Playa Las Ballenas ', which some may consider one of the most desirable beaches in Las Terrenas. Approximately two miles of soft sandy beach without crowds of people while observing beautiful sunrises or sunsets is just fascinating...... Naming a beach after its whales creates curiosity (during season). Come see for yourself!. 2nd floor private balcony.

The villa was very clean and fresh. The linens provided were in great condition, as were the towels for the pool. Some updating of appliances are needed as the toaster oven did not work, and the plug in toaster only toasted one side of the bread. As well, we would have appreciated a cutting board on which to prepare meals, and sharp knives as well.The location of the villa was the big selling feature for us, as it is a very reasonable walk to the restaurants, shops, and the beach. We felt very safe in the neighbourhood, and the security attendant was very informative and helpful. The pool was refreshing and a great way to relax during the heat.

This place is amazing! Situated just off the main drag in the center of the worlds most beautiful beaches making up an astounding coastline. Orientation of the property is such that the house remains cool throughout the day and the lovely saltwater pool is shaded a majority of the day, with a few hours of sun for those solar bathing moments. Host is super responsive and accommodating, even in the midst of a national power outage! The resident security lead Wilguens is also a real treasure and super helpful. 5g purified water available at the gate for 200 pesos, so never too far in times of need. Minutes away from an incredible Pescaderia on the way to Playa Ballenas or from Franco and his collection of buggy’s, four wheelers, and excusions. Many beaches, restaurants, tiendas, mercados, and cantinas within 10 min walk or three min drive.

I would like to start with the Villa itself, is good and has tremendous potential. The issues I experienced are all about upkeep. Things in the villa can use some updating, couldn’t turn the stove on. Lighters that were provided didn’t work, I had to go buy a lighter myself. Cleaning should be better. In the kitchen it smelled like cat urine and I’m highly allergic to cats so I had to stay away from the kitchen, even after my wife cleaned the kitchen garbage. Toilet on the main floor was dirty, and in the master bedroom garbage used pepto bismal cups were left. The host was responsive and tried to help but we couldn’t wait for someone to come clean, when we were already checked in and actively in the villa. On the last day, we have to pay for electricity but no one showed up. I think miscommunication was the reason. Checkout is at 11 someone should be there at 11 to collect what was owed. I waited an extra 30 minutes Had to leave due to a time sensitive event.

Great stay!

Communication was excellent and Stephanie and staff provided us with all the comforts for a wonderful vacation. A short walk to the beach provided us with lots of beach time and restaurants in Las Terrenas are plentiful. I especially recommend the Italian restaurant in the Spanish plaza and the French bakery! And if you don’t feel like going out I recommend downloading the Komida app and ordering in. They are super fast and reliable. Thank you for a great vacation!

Great stay, great place

Even though was some struggle trying to get to the site,, host replied on time. We had assistance every time we needed it. I would like to make just one suggestion, an absorbant mat for the entrance to the house from the the pool, very slippery floor. We had a great time. Thank you so much Stephanie

Tropical Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very clean and well maintained. The outside grounds were beautiful and we loved the pool. I definitely will be looking to book again with friends or family in the future.

Amazing stay

The property is beautiful, specially if you love nature. The property is located in a small private area that has approximately a total of 9-10 villas. The area is quiet, clean, safe, close to the beach, and restaurants.The pool and the upstairs terrace was an added bonus. We will definitely return.

The property was in excellent condition 👌....The host was very responsive to questions. Walkable distance to the beach. Gated property with 24 hour Security personnel. Excellent place for pool and beach to enjoy with family.
