"Breakfast superb! Wonderful menu.. Staff were very attentive...The bedrooms (3 and 4) were up steep stairs, they were a good size with comfy beds and the bedding ws excellnt . Only fault was that neither room had a working bedside lamp.. That was disappointing as we were unable to read in bed... We told the cleaner as we were leaving that 4 light bulbs needed replacing. The Crooked Inn has great charm but rooms need checking before guests arrive! More attention to detail needed! "

"This is a gr8 place to relax or play a round of golf. The staff are very helpful. The hotel rooms are lovely. They are not huge but have enough room to feel comfortable. There are 2 golf courses here. The Kernow course is a good test of your golf whatever handicap you have. The Nickolas course is the signature course and this will definitely test your golf and patience. There is a gym here but I did not use it. "Always an excellent nights sleep for a young family. It’s clean, well maintained (including air con), has welcoming helpful staff (all areas), ample parking, local shops & such quiet sound proofed rooms (even with the 1980s rave the floor below). My child slept & wasn’t woken up by daylight, noise, the stifling heat or worries about cleanliness. Plus they could have a bath. Win."
