Just not worth how expensive it is

Great stay at the Sofitel New York! The hotel was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was excellent from check-in to check-out. Everyone was friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location and friendly staff. They need to fix the elevator situation. Second time I’ve stayed there this month and only on very slow elevator works.

Lack of cleaning/dusting in the lobby. Lift floor filthy for 3 days (not vacuumed). Room light switches were grubby. Room reeked of cannabis! Staff offered to spray it but frankly, the smell would not have gone away. It was present for 4 days! Nice toiletries, room was made up daily, fresh water supplied & towels changed.
