"Me and My Wife had a fantastic weekend at The Shaded Crest. We booked The Snug and made beautiful memories in the cosy little cabin. "

"We enjoyed our time on beautiful Lake Lure relaxing, playing games and just enjoying quality time with family over Thanksgiving. The only thing to note is the main level master has a double bed and the queen is downstairs, so that affected our sleeping arrangements, as my elderly parents aren’t able to go down stairs. With that said, we adjusted and ended up using the pullout couch downstairs. On Thanksgiving day, linens were brought to the home for our use, so we appreciated that prompt response! Our fur babies were also allowed to join us, so that made the trip even better. We were extremely diligent about picking up their waste; however, we did see other dogs walking around the property so we wanted to make sure we weren’t charged (as if it were our babies’ messes). Again, we had a great time, watched a lot of football and played a new fun games as a family! It was very cold so we didn’t make it out to the fire pit as we had hoped. We will have to come back to try it out! "

"The cabin was well maintained . Temps dropped during the week and heat was not a problem. Hot tub was able to keep good temps even in the evening. Lake access is not a benefit at this point . Hopefully lake will return to it's past glory. All in all a great stay. "

"We had the most wonderful stay in Lake Lure. The house was spacious and comfortable enough for 12 adults to enjoy. The kitchen was fully stocked. The views from the back covered patio are amazing. We can't wait to come back!"

"Super comfortable with full kitchen, washer and dryer, fireplace, and access to the amazing Apple Valley Golf course. A wonderful stay and amazing golf at Apple Valley Golf course, and visiting Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. Perfect place to stay."
