Great Golf Getaway

The house was perfect for our golf getaway with 10 ladies. Plenty of space for all! The house was clean, directions excellent and communication with our host was very easy. My only suggestion would be to add in a few large serving platters and dishes for bigger groups. We definitely look forward to returning!

Awesome lodge for guys golf trip

Beautiful views of the lake and Dirty Dancing hole. Peaceful running water sounds from deck.Plenty of beds and bedrooms with comfortable mattresses.Loved the pool table, hot tub and the poker table with dedicated room!We played Bald Mountain and Apple Valley- super convenient to both.Owner had excellent communication and has the Lodge well stocked. We will return!

Dancing Falls Lodge - Mountain Oasis

10/10 ⭐️ Booking, communication, check in / check out process was seemless. The host instantly responded when contacted. The property is as pictured, in an absolutely beautiful location, a perfect spot for our family gathering and very nicely appointed with all you need. The resort includes great amenities and our grandkids loved the beach area. You can rent a pontoon boat at the Rumbling Bald marina which was such a great experience. Highly recommend! Thanks Tom we had the best time.

Great retreat

We had 16 ladies for a church retreat and had a wonderful time. The view was beautiful. The amenities offered fun for all. The sleeping arrangements were just right. The air conditioning quit working one afternoon but the owner had an HVAC tech on site within hours and it was working in time for a great evening devotional and good night's sleep. The owner and property manger were always quick to reply. I highly recommend this house.

Beautiful house

Our family gathered at Dancing Falls for a week and had a wonderful time. I was a bit disappointed that the waterfall mentioned in the name and description of the property is so far down the mountain side that we couldn't get anywhere near it! Our kids are big nature explorers, and they were hoping to get their feet wet. That said, we made very good use of the pool and the beach. That was a real lifesaver during this hot, sticky week!

Great family time!

This house met all of our needs! From having 2 refrigerators in the kitchen which was a HUGE help and then even having a 3rd one in the garage was the icing on the cake! Traveling with a large group means alot of food! The sun room rite off of the kitchen made a perfect spot for the kids to eat and play games and we could close the door when they were loud!! The adults enjoyed games and cards every night around the kitchen table!! The kitchen provided all the necessary tools to cook! Which we cooked at least 2 meals a day at the the house! We only had 1 minor complaint we wish they would have left more bath towels for us! We would absolutely recommend this house!!

A little bit of paradise here at Lake Lure

November 1-5, 2023 This was a very clean, spacious, well stocked cabin with amazing views. The trees were beautiful & still had most of their leaves. We enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to the waterfall, late night conversions by the fire pit, playing games & taking advantage of the outdoor amenities; corn hole, giant chess board, checkers, basketball & Jenga. A nice playground for the kids & beach area! So much to do right on the property! We seen a bear waking past our cabin and then again the next day at a neighbors cabin & walking near the road (early evening) on our way back from the beach area. We got excellent photos & videos of this. Highlight of the trip!! Four days was NOT long enough for us! Would love to come back in early summer. My favorite cabin so far!

Lovely way to ring in the new year

The house was wonderful with lots of space for all of us. We went on walks each day and the area was so enjoyable to explore. The house was still decorated for the holidays which was such a nice surprise. Would definitely stay there again.

Family Reunion at Dancing Falls Lodge

An overall fantastic week. This was a wonderful house for us - 3 families, 9 people, sometimes up to 13 with some day visitors. Plenty of space for everyone and options for things to do - pool table, foosball table, cornhole, large hot tub, bbq grill, smores firepit, huge library of DVD's, games, 2 large refrigerators in the kitchen perfect for lots of food and drink plus an extra fridge downstairs. Oversized washer and dryer was great since we washed a lot of pool towels every day. Game room right off the kitchen was busy all week with kids' games during the day and friendly poker games at night. 3 levels of outdoor decks with plenty of chairs on each one. Resort facilities included a great pool, lazy river, and lake. Adding the optional golf cart was a great decision for us, made it easy to get around and the kids loved riding in it. We weren't aware until the last day that we were expected to re-fill the gas tank for the golf cart upon departure which wasn't a big deal, just something to be aware of since the nearest gas station is a good distance away. The house was very clean, kitchen well equipped, a great layout to accommodate a large number of guests with appropriate privacy and at the same time very spacious for everyone to be together.

A surprise weekend wedding getaway

A beautiful home over looking a small waterfall that was very soothing as you sit in the outside hot tub. Our weekend flew past so we did not get to really explore. I recommend a whole week to actually enjoy , relax and experience everything nearby. The owner, Laurie was always just a phone call away with any issue we had. We hope to go back again.

Dancing Falls

Everyone (all 12 of us) enjoyed our time at this wonderful home. The three levels allowed the grandchildren and adults to each have space to relax, read, play, and converse. We also had fun swimming in the Lazy River at the pool, paddle boarding and swimming at the beach, and taking the pontoon boat out to the rope swings off Lake Lure. Our adult children especially enjoyed sitting around the fire on the bottom level after the children went to bed. This was a PERFECT place to enjoy family time together!

Fabulous Family and Friends vacation spot!

We came to Lake Lure it was our first time, for our son's wedding, and after much research chose to stay at the Dancing Falls Lodge and we were thrilled!! The home was clean, inviting and had all the amenities they advertised and the view was absolutely beautiful! We had friends as well as family stay with us and others nearby, everyone wanted to come to our house! We are planning our next friend and family vacation and everyone wants to stay at the Dancing Falls Lodge! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!!

Excellent House

This was a great house for all ages. It was very clean. It has lots of games and movies. We all played pool. The decks are huge. The location of the house was very close to Chimney Rock. There are three refrigerators. We are entirely pleased with our selection and would recommend this house without reservation. The owner was more than helpful. Thank you!

The house was wonderful! My grandchildren loved it, in fact, we all did!

We had a wonderful vacation at Dancing Falls lodge!! The resort was great and there was so much to do! The house was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The owners were so helpful and accommodating. They made our first trip to Lake Lure and Rumbling Bald Resort so easy! My family is ready to go back!

Huge & Inviting!

We had the best time! The cabin is large enough to accommodate several families with their own separate spaces. The location is great, resort is awesome. Beautiful view of the lake, comfy beds and a fully stocked kitchen.
