"This hotel met all our needs. The elevator waits were long, The noise from the traffic was loud but that is to be expected so close to the airport. There was nothing wrong with the stay, it was a great mid hotel."

"Lots of different accommodation options.. boutique resort with amazing views!!!! Morning breakfast provides fruit, banana bread coffee tea and water refills.. Bbq facilities and a small river next to the resort and lots of great seating outside and pool/jacuzzi. Sitting up there like in a treehouse with spectacular views!! Great Hawaiian experience but maybe need a few new mattresses 😉 I would absolutely return!"

"We traveled as a family of four and stayed in the OceanClub Bungalow for five nights. The club lounge was great for breakfast and afternoon snacks and the kids enjoyed the free softdrinks and fruits. The bungalow was nice although a bit small for four and it has limited space to hang/stow away all the clothes. Very helpful and friendly staff! Do not miss to book a surfing lesson in the resorts surf school. Nice Beach Bar with good casual food options, but we would have hoped for some additional dining options. Would come again, all in all a great resort to stay!"

Luxury Oceanview Punaluu Condo

"This is not a hotel, it is essentially a verbo. It is an individual unit that someone is renting out. There is not even a designated parking spot but rather a few parking spots indicated with BHL. Unfortunately, all those who are doing this must use the same marked spots and they were almost always full. We ended up parking on the street. The bedroom wasn't even really a bedroom but more of an alcove with a full size bed that took up almost all the space and separated by a curtain. AC option was not great either. Having said this, the price was slightly cheaper than the hotel up the street. The hotel is nice and is a chain but that price is for a room with two queen beds and a bathroom. This unit had a full kitchen and separate places for my kids to sleep. It also has a balcony that overlooks a beautiful beach and comes with beach toys, a boogie board, beach chairs and umbrellas. For us this was the better option. We didn't stay there much and could save money by making our own food and not renting beach equipment. And had a washer and dryer. The only reason I did not rate it higher is that the listing was very misleading. It called it a Luxury Oceanview Condo when the "Luxury" was the view of the ocean and not the condo. Just tell the truth and let the pros and cons be weighed by the renter! I think more would be happy with it if expectations were known going in instead of a surprise. It was worth it to me once I compared it to my other options."

"We really enjoyed our stay here! If your main goal is exploring Oahu without getting stuck in Waikiki traffic every day, this hotel is in a great location. While it’s not on the beach, the hotel is brand new, the rooms are spacious, and everything felt clean and modern. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus each morning. The only downside is the parking fee, but that’s pretty standard for hotels in Hawaii. Overall, if you’re looking for a comfortable home base to explore the island while avoiding the congestion of Waikiki, this is an excellent choice. We’d definitely stay here again!"

"Overall, we were very happy with the place. It was close to the beach and felt very private. It was just as described. I think one of the most important positives for us is that we had 6 adults using the two showers and washing clothes all during the same few hours and we never ran out of hot water. So that was a huge plus for us. The house was very big and we all felt like we had plenty of space. There were some cleaning issues that I think they must have just missed on the day we checked in. The house is older and has a lot of worn in things, so it doesn't have that brand new feel, but hey, it's Hawaii, so the constant rain and humidity take its toll on every house there."
