"Incredible experience with a truly amazing staff. Rooms were a little warn down but the property and privacy/quiet nature of the resort itself helped absorb that one fault. Will absolutely be back! "

"This is a wonderful boutique hotel and the Thai food was some of the best we have had anywhere. Room was lovely with great A/C and breakfast terrific, I.e, huge basket of different pastries and breads, eggs to order, espresso drinks, fruit, etc. Highly recommend this hotel. The owners and staff are very dedicated to service and making your stay memorable.

"Our stay at SAii Lagoon was nothing short of exceptional. "I stayed for a week during a conference. The hotel staff is exceptionally hospitable. I got the feeling that they genuinely care. They helped arrange a diving trip and book taxies. Airport pickup, laundry service, and breakfast were all satisfactory. The room was basic but clean and functional. The location is great too: close to the fish market and there were plenty of stores around. I highly recommend this place. "

Not that good: The sprayers of the soap and shampoo bottles were too tight, not suitable for those liquids. The room smells humid when no air-conditioning, location is far from jetties, but as Male is a small island, it's not that big of a deal."
"For Male standards this is a good hotel. The restaurant on the top floor, is good. The staff are extremely helpful.
The hotel is opposite a Mosque, therefore expect and early wake up, but every hotel is in close proximity to a Mosque.
Personally, Male is not a very nice place to spend time. "
