Such a beautiful island and in keeping with traditional Maldivian style as opposed to the built up louder resorts that are now poppint up in the Maldives. The food was great we did not have one bad meal. The staff are what make this place though they all try their absolute best to assist you with whatever your needs.

Our stay at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa in the Deluxe Overwater Villa with Pool was absolutely fantastic and truly memorable. From the very beginning, the experience was seamless. The airport pickup was extremely smooth — the Taj team was already present before we arrived, handled our luggage, and escorted us to the speedboat that took us to the island without any hassle. Check-in was quick and effortless, and we were assigned a dedicated staff member who stayed in touch with us throughout our stay and took care of every requirement promptly. A special shoutout to the housekeeping team — their service was simply exceptional. Every time we stepped out of the villa and returned, the room felt like it was prepared fresh for day one. This happened multiple times a day, and honestly, I’m still amazed at how perfectly they managed it. The entire stay was truly relaxing. Not even for a single moment did we face any issues or feel the need to follow up on anything — everything was handled proactively and with genuine care. Most of the activities and amenities were top notch. Really enjoyed the stay here as the hospitality was great and the dining options were amazing. Privacy seemed to be the key here, when we would go out we would rarely see others outside by the beach or pool. I don't know if it was the season but it felt very private.

Fabulous hotel resort

The Taj resort is amazing. It is a beautiful resort set on a wonderful private island. The colours of the sea are fabulous. The best activity is swimming in the crystal clear emerald green sea. The hotel is everything you would except of a Taj hotel. The food was excellent. What made it extraordinary was the attitude and helpfulness of all the staff. Nothing was too much. Beautiful, kind people.

While the setting of this paradise. Island in the Indian Ocean along the equator is a given for its naturally given beauty , it is the staff at this resort who made the stay extra extra special .. all of them smiling, courteous, and helpful. Top gun among them was Mainuddin who was always prompt , came twice a day to make sure our suite was clean. Went extra mile on more than one occassion - got us fresh coconut. His smile and attentiveness made us want to be pampered longer… Taj exotica is pricy but worth every penny and more ..

Choosing the perfect place to stay in the Maldives is not easy at all, especially with so many top hotels and resort to choose from. However, after much consideration my wife and I selected Taj Exotica as our destination. It was the best choice! What can I say? From the welcoming staff from the airport, to the speedboat transfer and at hotel reception. Our first impressions was everyone in the hotel appeared authentic and genuinely happy to look after us. This was indeed the case throughout our 5 day stay at the hotel. The service, food was immaculate. Shout out to Bilal and Priyantha whipping up amazing cocktails in the Equator bar. Shout out also to the hospital staff at 24 Degrees: Niju, Shaatu, Ismail, Mhelen and others if I forgot your name! They went out with the service each evening at the restaurant from taking time to speak to us about Maldives and their livelihood on the island made the interaction personal and authentic. Thanks to Adam our butler throughout our time here! And the Chinese and Spanish receptionist (apologise I forgot your names)! Apart from the consistent and quality service we received. The facilities was top notch from a fully equipped gym, large infinity pool and plenty of water sport activities. Snorkelling in the lagoon was a top highlight! Overall, this was one of the best stays we had. We are glad we chose Taj Exotica as our 1st hotel visiting the Maldives. We will certainly aim to return in the near future :) !
