In the beginning of my five day day at at the resort was amazing. As the days went on, I started noticing things that in my opinion brought the value of a four star hotel resort down to about a three star rating. The blinds facing the ocean felt like they were going to fall down if I wanted to raise them up to view the ocean. The lounge chairs with the wooden wheels were broken and screwed so they won’t roll, the breakfast was not really a breakfast seem like leftovers from dinner of the night before the staff was amazing. The bath tub was beautiful, but as I looked more into it, there were cracks on the outside of the bathtub. My overall day was good. I felt it could’ve been better. It seemed like the resort could use some sort of refresh.

Jutting out from the west coast of the island, this busy pier is the main entry and exit point for visitors to Koh Samui.

Most of the places worth seeing on Koh Samui are on the East and North coast so took a bit of a trek to get to this beach on the west coast to enjoy some cocktails at sunset.

Why not spend a lazy afternoon at Nathon Beach during your trip to Na Thon? Wander the beautiful beaches in this relaxing area.

Should you wish to escape from the mad action and large number of people on Samui's east cost, then head over to this area on the map, it's peaceful, there's a couple of guest houses and restaurants along the beach, and no one to annoy you! But hurry up, it may be too late soon...

This small restaurant is in Mae Nam on Koh Samui, Thailand. The sushi is the best we have had in Thailand or Malaysia! Everything here is delicious but make sure you get in early because the small, authentic looking restaurant fills up fast. The gyoza, ramen, sushi, and variety of sake keep us going back for more!
