"The cabin was neat and clean inside and out. All the bedding and linens were clean and fresh. The furnishings were all nice quality which made it feel warm and cozy. The view of the lake was excellent. Zach was a great host. He was very prompt with responses and made us feel very welcome. Both neighbors were very friendly as well."

"We had a large family gathering for our 50th wedding anniversary. Ages ranged from 1-78. The house accommodated us and all ages with plenty of space. The lake area with docks and beach area was great. The house was clean. Meg and Garrett our hosts were very easy to contact and welcomed us with a lovely surprise for our celebration.We had a wonderful time and would consider returning in the future."

"Mende’s cabin on Grindstone lake is a wonderful place to spend a summers week. Clean, up to date with all the supplies and items you need for a great time! Easy level access to one of the best small mouth bass fishing lakes in Wisconsin. The beautiful lake view is on a quite spacious lake lot. Thanks so much!!"

"Amazing stay in a perfect cabin. We loved the cedar cabin. Nicely updated and great location on the lake and in Hayward. The owner communicated very well, everything was as expected. Would definitely book this cabin again, we absolutely loved it!"

"The property was kept well and the cabin was nice. This really is a nice property. My only reason for the low marks is that we come to the area every year with kids expecting the beach front cabins to be clean of seaweed for swimming but this wasn't. It was great for fishing and for boating or kayaking if that is what you loke but not for swimming."

"We really enjoyed the Sunset Retreat on Whitefish Lake. The listing description matched the actual property experience very well. There were plenty of kayak’s, canoes and even a row boat with life jackets and paddles. The location was quiet and private. It was in a huge deciduous forest along with many other lakes. We were hoping to see more whitetail deer and water birds but that could be due to the weather or time of day.We enjoyed The Ranch supper club in Hayward and the Lumberjack Festival there. I would highly recommend this listing."
