"As soon as we checked in there was a massive roach on the wall, but that was the only one we saw in 5 days. They let us stay there til 4pm on check out. Nice pool. a group of tourist restaurants nearby. Real Mexican places are a bit further away. Beach is a 10 minute walk. La Comer Supermercado across the street. Great place."

"We stayed three nights and had wifi for 6 hours. Had to use wifi at the rooftop pool. Lotsa communication back and forth to no avail. The water in the pool is not heated so my husband passed on the pool experience. I swim often in cool water and found it uncomfortable, sadly. Bed was comfy and the place was nice. "

"We had a great 4 night stay at Casa Carlson. We have stayed at another property at this location and were familiar with it. Casa Carlson is a penthouse with a rooftop deck and splash pool, that was the only difference with the other property. Pablo greeted us like last time. He showed us the ropes. The property was clean and looks just like the pictures. The front door lock was the only tricky part and Pablo took care of it. We would definitely come back here."

"This is a beautiful property in a good neighborhood. There is a park nearby as well as easy walk to the grocery store and you can get anything you need there. Only problem we had was unable to exchange USD to pesos. Alot of places do not accept credit cards. You need to tip at grocery for 2 people who bag your grocerys. Bring small bills as it is difficult to get the correct change for USD."
