「Driving into Hjelle through the lakeside tunnel was magical. This repurposed schoolhouse was a fantastic place to experience old-world Norwegian living. Loved the nook beds and touches of history. The modern bath and kitchen were integrated well. The property manager was kind and helpful - he let us know when the early snowfall unexpectedly closed down the mountain pass. Was a great site to just relax and enjoy!」

「Åpne kobberrør i dusjen er ikke lurt. Sønnen på 8 brant seg på varmtvannsrøret. Ikke alvorlig. Batteriet i vasken på badet er koblet motsatt.」

「Betaler mye penger og må re opp seng selv, savner laken med stretch. Knot å re opp køy seng. Absolutt Alt av service sto inni oppvaskmaskinen da vi kom. Urimelig at vi skal tømme en full maskin når vi kun har brukt 4 fat og glass til frokost. Tv virket ikke」

「It’s a wonderful place at water’s edge, and a great view. Furnishings are complete and of good quality. Just one point: the mile of road from the pavement might seem very challenging, even intimidating for some. I am familiar and comfortable with such a trail, but not all are. 」

「Det var trøbbel med registrering med betalingen, da jeg hadde bestilt via Hotels. Dette fikset de i resepsjonen uten en mine. Vi har med hund, og det var perfekt å være her. Alt er rent og ryddig både utenfor og inni. Alt virker som det skal, bortsett fra tv, men vi har så mye annet å gjøre så det gjør ikke noe. Bistro og mulighet for å kjøpe brød og pålegg, samt kioskvarer. Om man vil kan man ta et glass vin og en øl i bistroen. Basseng på stedet. Flott oppsett for camping og bobil også. 」

「This cottage so close to the sea, was really a pearl. We woke up to the sound from the waves. The morning coffee we enjoyed on one of the two terraces looking at the picturesque view . So nice and cozy place with a soul (one of the places you would really like to keep as a secret and not to tell anyone). "We had a very smooth check-in. The receptionist was completely efficient and explained everything clearly. The room was cold, but due to centralised control it was not easy to change the temperature. However, when we informed the front desk that we were cold they brought a heater. Although not completely comfortable, I was satisfied with the hotel's action as it solved the issue for us. Breakfast was excellent with a very good variety."

"We stayed same grade two twin rooms for 4 members. One of the twin room didn’t have enough towels and coffee machines like the others. We requested some of them but no room keep services so we had to go to the reception. Stuff are friendly but they didn’t share the information about us so we had to ask many times about our situation. "
