"Great value, but the hotel was a bit tired. Room was very basic and we asked to be moved to the front of the hotel to a room with a balcony and they kindly obliged. The second room was much nicer overall. Breakfast was simple, with a small buffet and eggs cooked to order. Location was excellent close to the lake and some good restaurants. Walking distance to the Victoria Mall and public transport. Complimentary airport shuttle is included, just don't forget to request it in advance. "

"The hotel has a nice lakeside setting and the airport shuttle service was convenient and appreciated. However, the property feels older and could benefit from updates and general refreshment. There were also many lake flies during our stay, which made the experience less comfortable. We requested a late checkout and, although the manager offered a reduced rate, we still had to pay $50 for a 3:00 pm departure. Overall, it was an average stay with some positives, but there is room for improvement."

"This is a really nice hotel, very clean and modern, my room was smaller than some but very nicely appointed and cozy with a big king bed, patio, and quiet A/C (the kind that are built in to the ceiling, not the loud kind that sit at the windows) that worked. Good quality TV. Staff very nice. Excellent breakfast, pleasant pub. I'd definitely stay there again. "
