When I booked our stay at Gingerhill, I had no idea what to expect outside of an experience that would be unlike the typical room and board my partner and I are accustomed to. I can honestly say that this may be one of the most special stays that we have had the pleasure of experiencing. Falling asleep to the sounds of the forest in the Jungle Canopy and cohabiting alongside nature allowed us to seclude and connect in between adventures on the island. A charming, intimate, and surprisingly comfortable stay, we will be returning to this special place and recommend it to anyone who is open to connecting with the beautiful nature of the island.

Truly, an exceptional experience! We have visited several Auberge properties over the years and while the chain always provides an excellent experience, the Mauna Lani surpassed all of them! From our warm greeting to the hotel, to the fabulous hotel grounds and amenities, to the helpful staff, nothing was left undone. The lobby of the Mauna Lani is nothing short of breathtaking, with a wide array of gathering areas and comfortable nooks. The beachfront areas had gorgeous views and the property amenities included free snorkeling gear, paddle boards, and fun activities, like a tour of their impressive fish ponds. The Mauna Lani left us luxuriated, relaxed and feeling that aloha spirit!

Staff was great but it was a real process getting the correct password for our wifi. It was just out of date and they had to contact the rental company over in Maui. Otherwise we had a nice time!

The view!!! We were in the manta 1 building and it was incredible. Really made the trip.

The courtesy of the staff. Hot spa! Very clean. Even the guest's were friendly probably because of the nice staff. I should have mentioned the microwave may not spin completely. It still git our dinner hot.
