"Host was very accommodating however the property description doesn't match reality. Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult."

"Perfect, very comfortable and cosy.....had heating and cooling....the property had everything you needed.... nothing missing......there was even gladwrap :) and little extra's in case you forgot something..... two minutes walk to the beach.....lots of cafe's.... hotels.... wineries nearby.... and shops for your necessities."

"Julie and I had a fabulous stay. The Cottage is decorated beautifully, and the little touches put in by Barry and Angela were much appreciated. The setting is quiet and tranquil, the kangaroos and variety of bird species allows you to get back in touch with nature. Just the sort of holiday we were looking for. "We loved our stay in Crafters West. Julie was terrific - always responsive and never intrusive. The cottage was private, extremely comfortable and with adorable touches that made it very enjoyable. We woke to the birds singing, and although we didn't see lots of fauna, the baaing of the local sheep was a delightful background to fabulous sunsets. Happily recommend this cottage. Fantastic Hotel
"Couldn't fault this hotel. It's location by the beach, next to the tram with easy access to the airport by bus or taxi was great. This hotel is what my wife refers to as an old grand style. With character and charm but with modern features such as new lifts. We stayed for 5 nights and had breakfast included. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. We ate in the bar a couple of times and the food was fine. There are plenty of restaurants though within a few minutes walk. We would definitely stay here again if visiting the area in the future."
