"Highly Disappointing – Not as Advertised Don’t be fooled by the brand name; this property does not reflect the standards associated with the name. Upon arrival, we were shocked to find the rooms were cramped and nothing like the photos displayed online. To make matters worse, the bathroom had an unbearable, foul odor. We attempted to resolve this with Expedia immediately after check-in, but because we had technically checked in, they were unwilling to assist with a cancellation. We left after only 20 minutes because the conditions were intolerable. Save your time and do not book this hotel."

"The ITC Tavleen is a beautiful property nestled on a hill overlooking the Himalayas and the Shivalik valley avout 8 kms from Chail. The serenity and pristine beauty leaves you mesmerized. The property's internal road leading to the meditation room makes for a steep climb but can be done unhurriedly. The sunrise from our rooms were magical. The rooms were large and luxurious. The all day restaurant Mongal's deck is a place where you can enjoy your meals and soak in the sunshine. We loved sipping our coffees at the Cafe on the hilltop, as you unwind and let the evening settle itself into the night. I highly recommend vacation destination. The staff were well.informed, helpful and courteous."
