Clean spacious comfortable room, lovely helpful staff, excellent breakfast.
Made us a pack up for an early airport start ( thank you) and arranged transfers to and from the airport.
Excellently located for transport old town and huge shopping mall.
Easy to get to Pawia 18B for our Salt mines and Austwitch tours (next to the Mercure hotel) if you are using company Viator
Little bit further from the train station than I anticipated and since the sidewalk is not particularly smooth all the way through, walking with luggage is a bit of a challenge. The place is located near a small restaurant that offers home made food from breakfast to dinner. Good prices.
The facility itself is rather basic - simple. Very nice receptionist.
One thing I wasn’t thrilled with was breakfast. Maybe it was me or maybe not, but this is a very basic breakfast with two cold meets cut. The sausage that was to be hot/ warm was lukewarm. Based on the reviews I expected a bit more.

Room was spotlessz easy check in, and staff were extremely helpful.
Staff here are excellent. Our room was clean and as pictured. Breakfast is terrific, I would recommend the breakfast for convenience and variety instead of going searching for something else. We had a pleasant stay!
Good location, it was easy to find and there was a grocery store and tram lines very close. Staff members were polite and helpful. I was staying on the first floor and on the weekend there was a lot of noise coming from outside (people talking) throughout the night. Room itself was clean and spacious and had everything I need. The bathroom seemed to have problem with ventilation, it was very humid and smelled a little.

Property was in easy walking distance
Staff were friendly
Breakfast was lovely
At Iris Aparthotel, the room was quiet, as the hotel is on a quiet street. Housekeeping was good. Two bottles of mineral water per day were provided, plus some tea and coffee. There is a kettle and a fridge which is most useful. The bed was comfortable. The room was an ok size for one person -- it being a double room for one person use. There is a closet and shelves for your clothes. An important feature is an elevator, esp. if you are on the 3rd floor. The breakfast was very good, and absolutely worth it. There is a variety of food to choose from, and the friendly breakfast staff will cook your eggs to order. I had to leave early in the morning twice, so the staff prepated a take-away lunch, in advance, for me as I missed breakfast. I found all of the staff to be friendly and helpful. English is spoken. I did find that there was not much soundproofing between the rooms. Also, the floors are a bit crooked and squeaky -- it being an older building. I had a little difficulty with the door lock, but that, maybe, is just me. The hotel is a very easy, and convenient 10- minute walk from the train and bus station. Also, a reasonable walking distance to the old town of Krakow. There are some small convenience stores nearby, but also you have the huge shopping mall along with the train station. I recommend this hotel for those people who are looking for a reasonably-priced hotel, nothing fancy, but quite adequate. I would stay there again, for sure.
I’m impressed! Staff was very careful and helpful, the room was very clean, comfortable bed, tasty breakfast. Thank you so much! Definitely will come again!
Location is good, zabka and restaurant next door is great. Front desk ladies were friendly. Rooms while no AC provided fan. Basic toiletries are provided which is better than none like at most Absynts. Would consider coming back to Iris whenever in Krakow.
Early October 2025. Five nights. Solo female traveler. Super clean room. Nice, easy check in. The room was basic and suited my needs perfectly. Had a mini fridge. Good natural lighting from outdoors and the indoor lighting was much better than some budget accommodations. Plenty of hot water. WiFi was excellent. Comfy bed. I didn’t have the breakfast. Also, I requested no housekeeping. Felt very safe. Great location, close to the rail station and easy walking distance to Old Town. I walked to the Schindler Factory and to the Banksy Museum and to Wawel Castle. I’m an avid walker.
Good location, rooms clean, fridge a little noisy at night and my room seemed to have a drain pipe in the wall which was constantly used..apart from that a good stay..Staff friendly and helpful..Breakfast was also very good and plenty of choice..
The staff were very kind and accommodating. My daughter decided to accompany me so I contacted the hotel and they gave me a bigger room with no additional charge! We got free water, coffee, tea on daily basis. It did have AC ( not mentioned in hotel description), refrigerator, blow dryer, and there’s a microwave on the main floor. Super shower pressure and you don’t run out of hot water. One negative thing is that housekeeping comes only every three days but trash is taken out daily. It was on the opposite side of the Central Station so it was quiet. Building is old but rooms have been renovated.
Webhad a very clean room. We did not have breakfast or park a car but found the experience excellent due to the availabity to go anywhere easily do to the location of the station and bus and tram
