"Convenient location and very impressive decor in the lobby and room. Helpful and friendly staff. The room was spacious and comfortable, particularly as it was a very warm weekend when we visited. It was mostly quiet, although sometimes I heard movement in the early morning - we may have been above the kitchen/food area (we were on the first floor). The restaurant was very good for breakfasts and drinks, and we had a pleasant meal one evening there as well. Highly recommended and good value for..."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Amber Design Residence. The room was not only quite spacious but was extremely clean and comfortable. The location was excellent - very walkable (with luggage) to the train station and to the city centre, yet located on a very quiet street, meaning no noise from the city inside. Finally, the staff were very warm, always greeting us with a smile and even made us a coffee a few times during our stay. We will absolutely return to this hotel on our next trip to krakow!"

Kraków Old Town

Discover the charm of Kraków's historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with its vibrant events, medieval cellars housing cafes and clubs, and stunning architecture. Don't miss the Main Square, St. Mary's Basilica, and Wawel Castle.

Kazimierz

Historical district Kazimierz boasts major tourist attractions and a vibrant cultural scene. Explore Jewish-themed restaurants, bars, and museums, such as the Old Synagogue and Remah Synagogue.

Stradom

Sandwiched between Kraków's Old Town and Kazimierz, historic Stradom invites travelers to step back in time. Medieval architecture lines cobblestone streets where Gothic and baroque church spires dominate the skyline. Visitors can explore significant religious landmarks like the Bernardine Church and Monastery or the ornate Pauline Church on the Rock. The neighborhood offers a unique glimpse into Kraków's diverse cultural heritage. Wander along colorful Renaissance facades on Grodzka Street to discover small boutiques selling amber jewelry and local crafts. Enjoy traditional Polish cuisine in atmospheric medieval cellars before taking an evening stroll through well-lit historic streets.

Wesola

This peaceful residential area just outside Kraków's Old Town offers travelers a genuine taste of local Polish life. Tree-lined streets wind past a mix of traditional homes and communist-era apartments. Wesola provides an authentic, budget-friendly alternative to the touristy city center. Well-connected by trams and buses, this neighborhood puts you just 15 minutes from Main Square. Small local cafes serve traditional Polish dishes at reasonable prices. After a day of sightseeing, you'll appreciate returning to this quiet retreat away from the crowds.

Podgorze

Across the Vistula River from Kraków's Old Town, historic Podgórze tells a powerful story through its streets. Once a separate town and later the Jewish ghetto during WWII, this neighborhood balances somber history with creative revival. Schindler's Factory and the haunting Ghetto Heroes Square memorial preserve crucial memories. The former industrial area now buzzes with artistic energy. MOCAK Museum of Contemporary Art occupies converted factory spaces while quiet residential streets offer an authentic slice of local life. Riverfront paths provide peaceful escapes from the tourist crowds that fill Kraków's center.
