Right in the centre of the old city. Hotel parking a short walk away - no traffic in old city. Directions to car park and then to hotel all provided unprompted in advance. Great spot to explore from. Jazz club playing in the square outside was fantastic and room was fairly well insulated from the noise. I did have wax earplugs which was helpful. I suspect you cannot stay in the old city without noise all around!

Wunderschönes historisches Hotel direkt in der Altstadt von Kotor. Die Lage ist perfekt, alles ist fußläufig erreichbar, der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Das Hotel hat einen besonderen Charme, das Personal war freundlich und die Zimmer sauber. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die Kotor authentisch erleben möchten!

Location is really nice and the room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is okay but would’ve loved more variety. Also, made us pay for water during breakfast hours (open buffet), which is the only negative thing about my stay. However, the staff are really lovely and I’d recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kotor.

The hotel, staff, location were all amazing. The rooms were comfortable and the food was wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is rated four stars by the Montenegran authorities. In international terms it is two star. It is very old fashioned and the decor is VERY dated. The bathroom fixtures are from the 80/90s. There was a terrible sewer smell from our bathroom. We reported this to reception and it was written down in a book - no action was taken and no apology was forthcoming. The wiring for the bathroom light was loose and 'sizzled' when the light switch was flicked. A note was taken - but no action taken and no apology. Under the sink had not been cleaned and the door of the cupboard under the sink was hanging off. The noise from surrounding bars until 1.00am in the morning made it feel that you were trying to sleep in a disco. There is little to no sound- proofing. We were allocated the 'attic' room and there is no elevator. So, while the receptionist carried two of our cases to the attic, I had to carry the other three. This was after I had dragged all of the cases through the old town, as no cars/taxis can drop you at the hotel. There is a hotel golf cart that can pick you up but we were not pre-informed of this service. This was really our worst hotel experience in about 20 years. No effort was made by staff. Expedia should really assess whether they should carry this hotel on its site.

Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Well maintained building has a nice atmosphere. It is situated in the heart of the old town, so it's very lively until 1 a.m. but we can have a nice breakfast in the quiet by contrast.

Beautiful hotel. Amazing view friendly staff. Highly recommended. We only had a one night stay but wished we’d booked longer. Very clean lovely pool. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful/ we had to check out early so they prepared a lunch bag with sandwiches fruit and drinks as we missed breaky

Hotel staff in breakfast room were magnificent. Lovely friendly manner and excellent breakfast. Our room was in the second building and unfortunately it was above a jazz bar which was quite loud at night. Our room was also very dark and quite stuffy. However, being in the old town as soon as you step out the door was amazing. I would recommend a stay in this hotel.
