While the resort was in a remote area of the island it is an ideal place to spend a couple of days to spend a restful vacation. The staff was very friendly and helpful in any way. More than similar resorts of hotels in other parts of the world.

This is a nice hotel. The main draw is the sizeable pool and the beach and the staff are very helpful. We didn’t have any problem with Mosquitos, at all. The comments in previous reviews about the breakfast…really? Coffee, fruit, juices, eggs however you like. It’s really good, even multiple Gluten free options. The location is quiet but easy short drive to Fisherman’s Village, where we ate most nights. It is an older property but this doesn’t detract at all due to the polite helpful nature of staff. We would stay again if we were lucky enough to come to Koh Samui.

Very good hotel, especially for quiet holiday.

Isolated in the north easth corner, far from the busy beaches and villages, situated on private beautiful beach. Excellent service, reach and very good breakfast. The rooms are wide and big, the whole hotel is like a small village, beautiful gardens and swimming pools. It is not a new hotel, and it do need some maintenance, and a little more care around the main swimming pool.

Hotel should have been renovated already 10 years ago if they want to be 5 star hotel. Now it is more like 4 star. Place itself is great and location is peacefull. Very nice nature in area. Service was mainly slow in restaurant and sometimes it was difficult to even get service. With right actions and measures this hotel/resort could be very nice but with current service level/maintanance level it is only good.

We came to celebrate our honeymoon, the location of the hotel is in an area far from the center of Samui, but quiet and magical with a beach and an amazing view. The room was relatively large with very maximum equipment, in my opinion a good hotel and justifies the high score it received, there was one case of dirt on the bedding but the case was not substantial. Really enjoyed!! In conclusion: For those looking for a calm and peaceful place to spend their next vacation, the hotel definitely meets the needs

Staff was very friendly, very warm and welcoming. Beautiful facility, pool was amazing, restaurant was delicious, esp the Thai one. Breakfast had a lot of options but same things every day, could have improved there a bit. It’s good for visitors who want to stay and enjoy the resort. Kids club was good, my 6 yr old enjoyed it a lot. If you are more of a party place person or family, you ll have to go to Chaweng-Choeng which is 400 bht one way. Hotel provides courtesy shuttle twice a day.

We stayed in Presedential suite 702/704. The rooms were great, spacious and had everything we needed. The aircon in 704 didn't seem to be cooling very well. The staff did check quickly but said all was ok. This room was always warmer than the others. 702, the master suite, was right next to a service. This meant we heard vehicles, doors banging and staff conversations until as late as midnight/1am and again from 5/6am in the morning. The first night, there was a wedding. This was totally fine but all the usual restaurant furniture had been stored in front of our room. The noise of the staff putting the restaurant back together had us awake past 1am.

Lovely resort, but a bit far from everything

We stayed a few nights at this beautiful resort at the end of our trip. The room was amazing, with our own private garden. There was two pools that were both in great condition, the whole resort was very well made and the staff was always friendly and helpful. The food was also very nice, and breakfast amazing! The only thing that was a bit negative, was that it is far away from everything, and although they do offer a free shuttle to town twice a day, you have to pay for a taxi to come back unless you want to return at 4pm exactly, and taxis on the island are ridiculously expensive, even for very short distances. And since food at the hotel was also VERY expensive compared to other restaurants (but also very good and well presented), it was a bit negative for us. However, there is one good and very cheap restaurant (with lovely sandy floor) on the beach just next door, so we had a lot of meals there. The beach is better other places on the island, and there is no snorkeling, but the pool is lovely, and the beach is still nice and sandy. There is a nice fitness centre at the top, and a small kids club and a small muay thai gym by the pool, and there were activities like beach volley, dart, kayaks etc. free to borrow.

Excellent hotel in such a quiet and relaxing location. Rooms are wonderful, restaurants are great, inc a great buttet. For the most part the service was lovely, but at times it seemed like such an effort to get them to help (for example, booking kids club for the following day I was told I would have to do it in person at 8am the next morning, rather than reception helping)- especially for the higher price tag you pay to stay here! However Atish and Sushi (trainees) were spectacular. The downside of the privacy and remoteness is the lack of ANYTHiNG is surrounding area - 400baht min to go anywhere. So regular shuttle bus would be very welcomed. But, still worth it to be quite secluded from the hustle and bustle of Chaweng. But positively, Fishermen’s Market is only 15min ride and a really lovely, clean and safe, SE Asian street market Great family resort too - plenty of families for the kids to get to know others, and the kids club for out 8/11yo’s was perfect. Also one of the best equipped hotel gyms I’ve used! Overall though, a fantastic stay and will definitely return.
