"We get to the hotel and greet the receptionist and say we have a reservation and she starts speaking in german and say we don't have a reservation (i think) in a very angry way, and when i didn't understand she got even angrier and gesticulates at us, and then guy shows up that speaks good enough english and we ask what's wrong and he says nothing and we get our key. They didnt have an elevator so I told them i have a baby and they should change my room to the first floor but they denied because they said it will cost them! "Charming small hotel visited a week before Easter 2024 - not their peak season so I suspect it is sometimes harder to get the lovely room on the 5th floor - but the room itself was a solid without being outstanding. Slottet er under renovering, og man fornemmer at de nye ejere gør meget ud af, at alle detaljer er perfekte. Den værelsesfløj vi boede i var færdigrenoveret, og værelset var meget stort og velindrettet med sans for de små detaljer. Til værelset var der en terrasse med udsigt over søen. "Villa Ingeborg is a true gem. We didn't expect such a nice villa/hotel in Fürstenberg - a village in the countryside. The large house is fully remodelled, and looks like it was recently done. The hostess is super friendly and welcoming. She greeted us immedeately on our entry into her villa. Yes, she lives there. Our room on the top floor was spotless. The bed comfortable and the sheets superb. Private shower with toiletries. And the included breakfast! Wholly makarel. Soo good and plentiful....
