The location of the hotel is spot on! It was within walking distance of almost everything. We walked to Nyhavn for breakfast and dinner, as well as to the nearby street food market, which made exploring Copenhagen very convenient. As other reviews have mentioned, the room is very basic—there’s no TV or kettle—but we honestly never needed them. The room had all the essentials that were important to us, with enough space for our luggage. There was also a closet with shelves and plenty of hangers, which was very helpful during our stay. There is no air conditioning, so we kept the window slightly open. It was a little noisy during the day, but at night the area was surprisingly quiet. The walls are somewhat thin, though. On our first night, we could hear someone sneezing repeatedly in the next room, which was a little amusing but also a reminder that you can hear some noise between rooms. The elevator is quite small—probably comfortable for only two people with two suitcases. I had requested a lower-floor room, so we only used the elevator on our first and last days when we had our luggage. The staff were very nice and helpful. They assisted us with getting a taxi and were always happy to fill our water bottles with cold water whenever we asked at the restaurant where we ate breakfast. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Maritime Hotel. The location, friendly staff, and practical accommodations worked very well for us. We would definitely book here again if we return to
