"Our host was a great communicator. He responded very quickly to any questions. The house has some beautiful hand made furniture and features that make it unique. Very nice kitchen and updated bathrooms. Great deck for enjoying nice evening or grilling on new outdoor grill. Close to town for restaurants or shopping. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the cleanliness. Which was caused by previous guest not following check out instructions. I would recommend this place if visiting the area. "

The owner showed us where the clean sheets were so we can take the ones that had hair on them, and stink bugs, off of the beds. The owner found another place for the maintenance man who was set up to spend another night there, not realizing we were coming. "The worst air b and b experience of my life. We travel on weekends often and have stay at air b and b’s often; we understand each property and owner is unique to their approach at hosting. This property was a nightmare. Spiders and webs lined all the ceilings, with bugs all throughout the floors of the rooms. Every crack in the kitchen counter has major crumbs and debris everywhere. Upstairs does not have AC, which was problematic for our visit when it was in the high 80’s and 90’s. The lights upstairs didn’t work, so between the heat and darkness of the upstairs, we had to share a bed downstairs and try using the floor space. The second night I went ahead and spent an additional $225 on air mattresses and pads. The beds themselves are bare bones minimum. Mattresses are old coil springs with sparse bedding; definitely not the relaxing getaway it’s portrayed to be. Wi-Fi was down and didn’t work. TV didn’t work. Fridge was full of used and opened food. I took pics of everything. Never again. Be warned!"

"DON’T PASS THIS ONE UP!!! If you need a break and wanna get away from it all for a few days, this is your place. It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. All top-of-the-line appliances. The shower was amazing. We came down from Cincinnati to see a show in RenfroValley and booked it for 4 nights but we liked it so much we stayed two more nights. This was nicer than staying in a hotel room. All the restaurants in the area were very good. The lady that owns it is super nice and easy to talk to. We are really looking forward to going back there."
