"What a beautiful place to stay. Our host made sure we had everything we needed. All public rooms were immaculate as well as our room. "

"The Avoca is located along the sea front and the foot of the Mourners mountains. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive throughout our stay which was to celebrate my wife's birthday. The staff kindly presented her with a bottle of prosecco and birthday card - much appreciated. The room and bathroom were very clean and well supplied. The bed and bedding very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the kitchen was willing and able to prepare items that were not on the menu. The...

"Amazing!!"

"This was a little tougher than expected. However it was altogether nice. More like renting a resort cottage. Would be great for young couples or groups of friends. Lots of little extras having a full kitchen and laundry. Shower not really an option. Local area very quiet. This also meant few options for pubs or restaurants except the local grocer. Slept well with the windows open and enjoyed magnificent views of the mournes and water."
