Had the “best time” in Key West

The neighborhood is safe and quiet even at night. The condo is in a great location and had all the basics needed. It was clean and nicely decorated. Advice for picking up the keys would be to skip the Uber and instead take a taxi. We had a lot of difficulty communicating with our Uber driver on how to get to the office for key pick up and as a result were not able to get there before the office closed. We had to call the Compass Realty emergency after hours number for help. It should be noted however that the person we spoke with was INCREDIBLY helpful and stayed on the line with us while we found the office and talked us through getting to our condo. My understanding is that the taxi drivers are better at being flexible with the written driving instructions to the office, since the GPS coordinates do not take you straight there. Despite the key retrieval hiccups, everything was great and we had an amazing time. Can’t wait to return!

Great rental with extras

We had a great week and having some extra items to use for the beach made it all the better. Beach towels, beach chairs, a small cooler, even a beach umbrella made the short trip to Fort Zach even more enjoyable. The unit was clean and nicely furnished, extra large shower head, the front and back decks with furniture got a lot of use and the location is perfect. Would stay here again.

Truman Annex

Excellent!! Loved the National Anthem each morning from the Little White House. Clean, Safe, Quiet. Will stay again. My only drawback is the check-in process. A very old school system. Need to install a keypad for door lock or at the very least use a lock box on site. Overall would recommend.

Great condo! Great location!

Absolutely terrific place. Great location relative to Duval and Whitehead streets, and also to Truman Waterfront Park. The unit itself is also fantastic. Too nicely sized bedrooms. A very comfortable living room. Sizable and well equipped kitchen. Back deck is very comfortable for spending time on. Front deck is smaller, but face is south so gives you great direct sunlight. Hard to imagine staying in a hotel again after spending a week here! 👍

Wonderful property!

The location was within walking distance to everything, although a bike is also useful. The house was immaculate and nicely designed. The two porches area a plus, but never used one as it had no shade and was painfully hot! Restaurants are close by and I particularly recommend Santiago's for tapas and sangria!

It was a nice place. We loved the location. Was a very nicely stocked kitchen would have been nice to have a few more pantry staples. Basically there was only salt not even pepper.

Great Place and Location!

Couldn't beat the location of this unit! A two minute walk to Blue Heaven and to Duval street but at the same just far enough away to be quiet when trying to relax. I definitely recommend!

Wonderful Property - Mgmt Could Use Some Work

The property was great! The check in process was horrible. With all the new technology out there, they still make you walk all the way to the Compass Reality building to get your key. They say that upon arrival there will be a key box with your keys in it. What they don't tell you is that there is a key box that is blank for the maintenance office. When I asked the office rep about this she was super rude. One would think that any uncertainty would be solved by labeling this box correctly., Our condo was not ready until 4pm, so we had to go hang out somewhere for an hour and walk all the way back (with our luggage), then walk all the way back to our condo. The condo itself was great, it could use a little more creature comforts, like a can of PAM would be nice. They also only provide 2 rolls of toilet paper for the entire week. Please note that this condo is a 2 bedroom, so be expecting 2 rolls for 4 people. A little cheap in my mind. The pillows are thinner, which I actually like, and the bed is more firm, which I also like. Overall, it is a great location and the actual condo is nice. We would stay here again now that we know the process for the keys.

Vacation Getaway

We loved the property. It was very clean and very cozy. The property was beautiful and spent quite a bit of time by the pool. Had an issue with one of the closet doors and management came right over. Weather turned bad at end of week and management called to make sure we would be taken care of which was very sweet. Only complaint at all is that the picture showed a Keurig which I confirmed and when we got there, it was a coffee pot. We came home with lots of coffee pods LOL. Recommend this place highly and would love to stay again.

Great condo - Fantastic location!

This condo was exactly as described. It was very clean and fresh. The only issue at all was one of the mattresses wasn't too comfortable for my old sensitive back (maybe more of my problem than the bed's problem??) You simply couldn't find a better location. The kitchen and bathrooms were nice. The vanity in the bath could have been a little bigger but the bathroom was newly updated and nice. Good doors and shower head - good water pressure. The living room was nice with good furniture. Nice decorations. My spouse, sister-in-law and I highly recommend this place and would definitely rent this same location again when coming back.

Loved our Key West home

Fantastic 2nd floor condo in the Truman Annex. Just a short walk to all the Old Town restaurants, bars, and attractions. The condo is furnished and decorated in tasteful, serene blues and whites. Not kitschy and overly tropical. It’s an updated space with all the amenities one needs for their Key West get away.

Great stay

I would stay at this property again. It was very convenient and walkable to most all popular locations in KW. The cleanliness was excellent. The family room would sit four comfortably, you will be in close quarters but your not in KW to sit in your rooms. The breakfast nook seats four. The kitchen is just the right size. You are a few steps to the pool (not visible from your room). You enter on the ground floor, walk up a good number of hardwood steps a wee bit narrow (but not a problem unless you have a huge suitcase weighing more then average). The bathroom is average (nice shower head, bring your own toilet paper unless you like the really thin kind). They provided two wash cloths for the week per person (if you need more you have to go for a nice walk to the front office). If there are noisy people in the adjacent unit next to you, you will hear them but it was not unbearable.

Vacation in Key West

We were so thrilled by our condo! It had everything we needed and the location was perfect! It was so easy to get everywhere by walking and when we were lazy, it was an easy in and out with the car as well. The whole property and the pool area were very clean and quiet (except for the occasional rooster, which we loved!). I felt very safe here and the couple of questions I had were answered quickly and politely by the property management. I have friends going down in November, and I will definitely be sharing all of the info about this place with them! Thank you!

The place was located close to everything. Duval street was walking distance. We felt close to downtown activity, yet far enough away. Short walking distance to the Fort Zachary Taylor State Park & beach area. Walking. Distance to Truman Waterfront Park. Overall great place to stay!

Key West Spring Break 2021

I appreciate being contacted prior on how to get key. All info was given. Taxi suggested and he was familiar. But if not, it would have been difficult. Returning key before going to airport is also inconvenient. Property was beautiful. Location was perfect! I will definitely return!!

Small for more than 2 adults but great location

Although the location was perfect, (everything essentially was in walking distance) the beds and furniture were very uncomfortable. I suggest to buy pillows, as the ones provided were hard and flat. Also, the bathroom was very small and they only provided us with three bath towels, so it would be very difficult to share this place with another couple. Thankfully, it was just my husband and I so we had enough room, but we could not foresee other people in that unit, as listed. There was also construction one morning and the whole unit shook so it was unfortunate to hear that in the morning while on vacation. Finally, I suggest not getting to the property for the first time after dark. My husband and I drove around for 45 minutes before we finally found the keypad and the unit itself. It is difficult to find after hours (if you don’t know where you’re going in Key West).

2020 COVID Getaway

The property was very comfortable and served our needs very well. It was close to so many things. The kitchen had what was needed to cook and prepare meals. The pictures online mirrored the property. Very beachy and bright! There was some plumbing issues in the bathroom which I called in once we got home.
