Excellent location. Not exactly in the center of town, but in an exquisite neighborhood. The area is worth the distance from noise and confusion of city center. Short walk the trams to get anywhere in the city. Park nearby is a lovely means to cut through to museums and such.
Property is maintained wonderful. Our room was spacious, bathroom on the small side. Bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast was pleasant enough with many options.

This may be one of the finest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff bent over backwards to make us happy. The day we checked in, the clerk noticed on my passport that it was my birthday. She was charming wishing me a happy birthday. Then two minutes after entering our room, she called to make sure everything was ok. Then about a half hour later, she personally brought to the room a dish a chocolates and a hand-written card welcoming us and again wishing me a happy birthday. The whole staff was like that throughout our whole stay. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

Wonderful hotel! It is close a few minutes walk to metro station which takes about 12min to reach Amsterdam central station. It is located in a quiet area with a 3min access to mini mart operating from 7am to 7pm and no such food or other facilities. It has an easy access to Amsterdam for day trips via metro. We found the breakfast a bit expensive for $24 per person so we decided to eat out. Our room had toilet on one side and shower sink on the other side. The automatic control of lights and curtains was a plus and easy. The room had a kettle and refrigerator which was a plus. Overall, pleasant!

Apr 28, 2019It's a popular trip, so calling it "Skip-the-Line" is a bit of a misnomer. It was quite a long line for the tour bus and a bit of a wait for the return, so GO EARLY and be patient. Once you are inside the gardens it's every bit worthy the wait.

Apr 28, 2019Wear good walking shoes, bring your good camera, be prepared to possibly stand for a while if you're taking the bus because many people may not get a seat. If you're trying to get some pretty Instagram shots while you're there, be mindful of the fact that the park will be crowded with may people trying to do the same.
