「We had such a great weekend with our college age boys to celebrate our son's 22nd birthday! The cottage was super cute, the A/C worked well, the river was amazing and we had great communication with our host. Super cute towns (Ingram and Kerrville) and the nicest little market nearby with all the supplies we needed. 」

「The setting of this cabin was very peaceful and beautiful. The cabin itself was charming and comfortable. I would use caution with young children, though. The shabby country chic easthetic includes apparently repurposed corrugated metal panels low on the bathroom wall with screw holes that are quite jagged and could easily slice flesh if contacted. Otherwise, the decor is very charming. We had a great time on the walking trail and enjoyed the interesting rocks and wildflowers. This is the kind...

「No this wasn't a great experience, we had to find the office and locate our keys in the cabin, which was fine. Next we get to our cabin, only one bed, there were two of us both men, the picture showed a loft with a bed above another, we tried to order pizza but they were already closed. Also thought it was odd that there was no TV in the room I understand this is glamping but I still expected more than a small mini fridge and a single queen size bed, one end table and some coat hangers」

「The property itself is great. Good location. The property manager on site was pleasant and helpful with the malfunctioning door lock when I arrived. I would suggest as little contact as possible with the owner, Meador Hall. 」

「The assortment of deer, axis, fallow, and antelope was so cool! We fed some out of our hands! The cabin was adorable and the grounds were very nicely kept! Our only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer!」

「Absolutely by far the best decision we ever made was to book this cabin. Cabin was clean, hosts met me and showed me around and gave me fresh free range eggs for breakfast. I spent the majority of my time sitting in the rocking chair on the front porch with my dog and enjoying nature and the wildlife. I was sad to have to come home! If traveling the the Mountain Home/Kerrville area, Cowboy's and Angels Retreat is a must stay!」
