The road into Kentmere is very narrow with passing places, which, if taken slowly, isn't a problem.
The views from the cottage are terrific with a number of mountain pass walks within easy reach. It's a very peaceful location and the cottage is well equipped.
Spacious, well appointed. everything we needed, and the owner was a perfect blend of friendliness and yet respect. He gave us great advice and was just brilliant.
The views are stunning, and every day a joy to open the curtains (whatever the weather). Didn't want to leave.
