"The location was a little out of the way but no problem if you have a car. Apartment was tastefully furnished and of course waking up to the scene of the padi fields every morning was a novelty!"

"We are a group of 6 and every single one of us enjoyed our stay. I have always selected to stay at Dormy Inn hotels whenever in Hokkaido. Breakfast was excelkent. Customer service at reception was the epitome of the Japanese quality culture. "

"We are a family of 8 Adults n 2 kids (4 n 6yo). The property is clean and well equipped with utensils and crokeries. We enjoyed cooking our meals there. We did not use the facilities in the adjacent shed such as sauna, BBQ pit. There r 3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 bedroom downstairs. Both toilets n single Bathroom are downstairs. So those needing to use the toilets at night have to climb the stairs, which can be a little steep for some. There were several email correspondences after booking which can be confusing. It is not clear whether these are from Expedia or the Agent (ie Breakout group) 1 email said check-in is done in person and asked for our intended check-in Timing ... which I interpreted that someone would be there and I shld be on time. But a subsequent reply said checkin instructions will be given as no one is onsite. As we were on the road, I missed the email containing the Pass Code to unlock the property. No one seemed to pick up the contact number provided with the booking either. Fortunately, when we arrived, one of the owners (very friendly) were tending to their fields and helped us to check. We were told to check our emails again for the Pass Code. The owners cannot unlock as the property is managed by the agent. Lastly, it would be good to provide a bigger kettle for boiling water. The water dispenser was used up by our 2nd day. Other than small logistical issue, everything turned out well and we enjoyed our stay."

"Breakfast with a good view of the city. Was supposed to park a short distance away from the hotel as the hotel parking was unable to accommodate the bigger ride I had which was a Toyota Noah. However managed to park outside the hotel after the staff saw that I have children. Parking is 1000jpy per day. "

"I was disappointed with the quality and cleanliness of the room for the price. It was rather worn. Additionally the air conditioning was not strong and could not be adjusted with a thermostat. Probably the worst thing was that even though it was a non-smoking room there was a faint smell of stale smoke and part of the carpet had a very bad smell too."

"Room was ok. Scruffy (wallpaper hanging off, funny smell etc) but I'm not too bothered about that. The email I received after booking said the front desk was open 6:30 til 22:00. When I arrived at lunch to leave my baggage before check-in (and I emailed ahead to check it was ok) there was nobody there, and no sign saying when someone would be back. I waited around 45mins before eventually going and finding the cleaners who were helpful. I didn't bother trying to leave my bags after checking out. 7am and once again nobody on reception."
