"We really enjoyed staying here. The hide-away bed was comfortable. And I appreciated the brown binder with all the information & suggestion. The entire place was beautiful. I got some ideas for my house-like the heated seat bidet & the light. :-) As I mentioned I tried to get in on the 10th but waited too long to make the reservation and it was no longer available. So I changed our day of travel just to stay here and the place did not disappoint!"

"My husband and I loved it here! Right off the back deck you can watch them processing huge fish. We found it entertaining! It was pretty loud being right behind the Saloon but we were fine with that and liked being in the middle of it all. Shops and restaurants were walkable. We had a great time. Donna was very responsive and a pleasure to speak with."

And the washer & dryer were a nice feature as this was the second half of our trip after a week on a cruise ship. Liz was a fabulous host. "During our visit to Seward we enjoyed a relaxing stay at the Fisherman’s retreat. The location of the cabin is perfect, just outside of the city proper but close to anything you need. The morning views of the mountains are spectacular! Nola, the property manager, was super helpful and took excellent care of us during our stay whenever we had any questions. Highly recommend this accommodation if you are visiting Seward!!"

"This was one of the best VRBOs we have stayed in The hosts Liz and Billy were very personable. I can't think of anything we wanted that the place did not have! We hope to be back!! Took spectacular pictures of Bald Eagles (perched and in-flight!) and Sea Otters on our hike on Diamond Creek trail.. very close to Liz and Billy's. I also recommend the boat to..fly back excursion to Seldovia with Mako Water Taxi!!"
