Room is small but clean and tidy. The front office staff are polite and very helpful.

The hotel is old and requires an upgrade. I stayed at the beach front villa, it has a nice view though.

Room was clean, location was convenient.

Staff are good and friendly, clean and beautiful placr. But we book from 3rd floor and its far to reach room. Still okay.

The Borneo Eagle is an exclusive five star hotel - newly launched. The staff are excellent, facilities good - the only issue we had was the plethora of sand flies which caused a lot of issues sitting outside. We talked to the Manager about this and understand a machine is being shipped to deal with this issue - also the beach on the offside of the hotel was covered with plastic bottles and rubbish, which should be cleared on a daily basis to support the high quality nature of the hotel.
