Close to beach but strong waves and lots of debris- so not good to swim. Roaches in the Directors cottage- but they state this is normal in Hawaii. Older cottages so smells, no dishwasher older stains. Construction next door to us early am. Our air conditioner went out twice. Also using more than one appliance- causes shortage ( microwave, toaster, hair dryer, coffee pot, etc) Once we learned where electric box was we could flip ourselves. Check out at 11, I asked about late checkout (12pm- late flight) at first I was told no. I asked could we at least hang out at pool- told no we had to leave property!!!! Once I complained about all the issues or inconveniences- I was told we could stay the 1 hour. I understand they needed to clean- I was willing to wait at pool. Just disappointed in customer service after we were more than fair with roaches and no AC
