"What...just... happened? This is an unattended building. There's a pile of keys in a bucket of rooms that have been used, and a pile of keys for rooms that haven't. There's no one on property, and if you can't reach the owner (?) by text, you can't check in. Which honestly, would probably have been the best possible outcome. Rooms are nothing like the pictures, this is a one star, eerily lit horror movie set. The heat isn't particularly effective, and the hot water takes about 5 minutes to warm up in the morning. There's a jumble of random soaps and shampoos on the floor of the shower. It's a long walk to town, and it's not clear if there's parking. On the positive side, there's"

"Everything on this property was excellent, modern bathroom,comfortable bed, easy to park, and microwave too, which was great."

"The guesthouse was in a residential and quiet area but walkable to the town and nearby national park walks. Although I drove there I didnt use the car once I arrived. My room was very comfortable and I enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. I would love to return and be able to stay longer."

"The room was very clean and tidy. The room I stayed in had a queen bed and a single so would suit a small family. Or you can use the single bed as a bit of a luggage store. It had a cupboard and another space for luggage and a small table and chairs where you may sit for a meal. Microwave and fridge included and of course a basic bathroom. While the property is dated it is well maintained and has everything you would need for a short stay. What I did like about it was the proximity to the main street and it was very close to supermarkets. If you are wanting to visit the three sisters, then it is no more than two minutes drive from this motel."

"Visiting the Carrington was a trip back in time. A beautifully appointed hotel, attentive service, and scrupulously clean. We had a non ensuite room but the individual locked “bathrooms” in a shared facility were fine. The hotel bar and lounge area was a great place to relax after a day of local exploration. We will be back."
