"Such a unique property! Lots of charm and history in this hotel. Room was basic, and very warm. (No A/C and a broken stand fan). Supplying robes would have been nice, especially since our bath/shower facilities were down the hall. Good place for a 1-2 night stay."

"Would have appreciated having had extra towels since there is no room service on Sundays. It was known that we were staying two nights. Reception was closed when we left in the morning and at our return in the evening. No option."

"The room was clean. The bathroom was quite outdated and the shower arm could not be adjusted from its lowest setting. There appear to be no staff present on site and the office is closed at all times. "

"Room was a nice size and aircon / heating worked well. Even though a fridge, toaster and microwave are supplied there are no plates or cutlery which seems like a silly oversight. It's also very close to the main A32 road and traffic noise can be a bit of a problem at any time of day. The free laundry facilities were great. "
